Hello!My name is Rayza Torres Castro, I'm currently a student at Texas A&M University-Central Texas pursuing my degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Software Engineering! I'm set to graduate Summer of 2025 and plan on starting the journey to pursue my master's in information systems with that fall.I strongly believe in gaining experience while pursuing my degree to support my credentials upon graduation! This is why I've focused on building up my experience during my undergraduate in data, marketing, and analytics. I am currently a Litigation Legal Assitant for the Carlson Law Firm and hold an internship as a student researcher at the Institutional Research Department at the Texas A&M University-Central Texas in Killeen, Texas. As a Billingual Litigation Legal Assitant, I've had the opportunity to grow not only in the legal world but in data. I work with Mass Torts claims and support clients throughout their claims by building/preparing cases for litigation and working through the litigation process with clients up until the case is closed. I work with a lot of sensitive data in programs such as AIM and Litify. In my internship, I work in the analytics side of data by using programs such as Qualtricts, Tableau, and SPSS to support the department with marketing analytics and email marketing strategies. Lastly, as a student researcher, I've also gained the opportunity to assist in survey assessment and administration of said data. In the past, I've been very involved in my university as a Blue Coat ambassador, SGA member, committee member, etc. I am a big believer in the saying "Nothing will work unless you do" meaning, if I put in the upmost amount of effort into my education and career path as a student I can set myself up for success in the future!
