At Iowa State University, I played a key role as a Sr. Workday Financial & Grant Management Analyst, overseeing the configuration and optimization of Workday Finance systems (AR/AP). My responsibilities included adhering to the Workday methodology framework—Plan, Architect, Configure/Prototype, Test, and Deploy—to meet stringent business process parameters and requirements. I led the conversion of legacy data into Workday, ensuring seamless integration and data integrity. I managed and led multiple facets of the project, from functional design and technical report creation to comprehensive testing phases and user acceptance

I held the role of Sr. Workday Finance Analyst, focusing on optimizing the healthcare provider's financial systems through the strategic implementation of Workday Financials. My responsibilities included serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday configurations, testing, and deployment. I successfully mapped internal spend categories to sponsor expenditure categories and restructured cost center hierarchies to enhance service line reporting. Collaborating closely with business partners, I led the testing and rollout of new functionalities and modules, ensuring that system security and user access were robust and compliant with organizational standards. Additionally, I managed production support tickets, created custom reports, and oversaw change requests, ensuring that each phase was documented and met the high standards required for successful implementation and ongoing maintenance.
