Accounts Manager
CurrentResponsibilities and achievements:Accounts Preparation• Preparing statutory financial statements and notes to accounts (extended trial balance, income statement and balance sheet).• Preparation of monthly management accounts for various clients.Tax Computations and Planning• Corporate and personal tax computations and planning.• Preparation of VAT returns and filling per HMRC standards.Bookkeeping • Accurate sales and purchase ledger maintenance; and assessing the need of doubtful debts and impairment,• Bank and cash book maintenance and monthly production of multi currencies bank reconciliations, posting accruals, prepayments, depreciations and other journal entries,• Preparing notes of required documents and sending to clients.Administrative Duties• Drafting etiquette letter for partner to obtain professional clearance from incumbent accountants,• Assisting the senior for the review of financial statements, tax computations, business plans and variance reports,• Supervising trainee accountants in bookkeeping and drafting performance report for senior,• Working paper files preparation and monthly review to keep them up to date.
