My life’s purpose is to create - to breathe energy into an idea born from imagination and capture it on a blank page. MY ART BEGINNINGSI started drawing at the age of three. By 14, I was selling commissioned artwork every Friday night from a table at Cilantros restaurant in Watsonville, CA during my dad’s mariachi band sets. In high school, I began writing sci-fi fantasy series - I designed and drew all of the characters, creatures, and environments. As a student at the Academy of Art University, I studied everything from anatomy, sketching, and sculpture to painting & fine art.VERSATILITY IN ARTI’ve worked as a concept artist, comic book penciler, storyboarder, game designer, and writer - all while keeping a day job as a professional security guard.
