EXPERT GROUP ON THE VIEWS OF MIGRANTS IN THE FIELD OF MIGRATION, ASYLUM AND INTEGRATIONThe mission of the EXPERT GROUP ON THE VIEWS OF MIGRANTS IN THE FIELD OF MIGRATION, ASYLUM AND INTEGRATION is to provide advice and expertise on policies in the field of migration, asylum and integration of migrants. Actively involving migrants, including asylum applicants and refugees, in the design and implementation of policies in this field is essential to make them more effective and better tailored to the needs on the ground.The task is to Assist the Commission in relation to the implementation of existing Union legislation, programmes and policiesAssist the Commission in the preparation of legislative proposals and policy initiatives20 members have been selected out of 354 applicants. I am a representative of the common interest of Migrant and Refugee women’s rights and gender equality in inclusion and integration policies. I am currently the coordinator between the expert group and the Urban Agenda Partnership for Integration.

As COO of New Women Connectors working at the intersection of gender equality and migration, I am responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization. This includes managing operations, developing and implementing strategic plans, overseeing budgeting and financial management, and building relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, I am responsible for ensuring that the organization's policies and programs align with its mission and goals, and that they are carried out effectively and efficiently. My role also involves advocating for policy changes that support the rights and welfare of migrants and migrant women in particular, while building the organization's reputation and impact in the field
