The project comprises of the Stage 2 of the Schofields Road upgrade this 3.6km kilometre section of Schofields Road. Constructing the eastbound and westbound lanes between Junction Road and Railway Terrace and between Bridge Street and Veron Road first with installation of traffic lights at five intersections along Schofields Road at Hambledon Road, Boundary Road/Alex Avenue, Junction Road, Railway Terrace, and Veron Road. As part of this upgrade, Schofields Road will pass under the Richmond railway line near Schofields train station and connect to Veron Road.Responsibilities are providing timely and accurate survey setout, control, asbuilt and detail survey data and survey information for the site for construction. Carrying out survey work accurately and efficiently. Creating and providing data for machine control GPS digger for earthworks. Asbuilt and conformance report for subgrade, SMZ, LMC and Asphalt. The project comprises of building approx. 5km of new four lane expressway, realigning local roads and 2 local road bridges. Rangiriri Section will form a deviation to the west of the existing highway and straddle the existing landform before joining the existing expressway near Rangiriri Township. It will connect the Longswamp section to the north with the existing state highway to the south of Rangiriri.Responsibilities are extracting survey setout data from designers MX model, managing and providing timely and accurate survey setout and control data for site surveyors and timely asbuilt and topographic data and survey information to the structures and earthwork engineers and earthwork subcontractors. Calculating volumes and designing structural fill models for project engineers. Managing and mentoring of survey assistant carrying out survey work accurately and efficiently.

The project comprises of building approx. 10km of new four lane expressway, realigning 3 local roads and 6 local road bridges and a Waikato River crossing bridge starting immediately south of the Mangawara Stream Bridge on SH1 in Taupiri, turns left onto SH1B on Gordonton Road for approximately 2.6 km, then heads south towards Lake Areare and Lake Road. It then crosses the Waikato River approximately 400m south of the Horotiu Bridge, and joining Te Rapa Bypass just north of the Fonterra dairy factory.Responsibilities are extracting survey setout data from designers MX model, managing and providing timely and accurate survey setout and control data for site surveyors and timely asbuilt and topographic data and survey information to the site Waikato River Bridge, structures and earthwork engineers and earthwork subcontractors. The project comprises the widening SH20 between Queenstown Road and Walmsley Road interchanges from four lanes to six lanes, with bus priority on shoulder lanes, and from four lanes to eight lanes between Rimu Road and Gloucester Park Interchanges, i.e. across the harbour. The existing Mangere Bridge will be duplicated to the east (i.e. a second bridge will be built) so that four traffic lanes and a shoulder lane for bus priority will be provided in each direction. Pedestrian and cyclist usage will continue to be provided along the line of the Old Mangere Bridge. The Rimu Road/Mahunga Drive Bridge will be replaced to allow motorway widening. Further south at Tararata Creek, a new off ramp bridge and widened motorway bridge is required. At the Queenstown Road Bridge, additional retaining walls at abutments will be required. The project comprises of building a tunnel under Hobson Bay to replace the 90-year-old sewer pipe bisecting the bay on Auckland's waterfront Tamaki Drive. The $118.6 million project will see the removal of the concrete sewer and its replacement with a three-kilometre long tunnel. The existing pipeline is at the end of its economic life. Replacing it with a large tunnel will meet projected growth in the area, practically eliminate wastewater overflows into the bay and the Waitemata Harbour, open up the bay for recreational purposes and improve the views of one of Auckland's premier tourist attractions, Tamaki Drive. The project comprises the excavation of a 22m diameter pump station shaft, 2 service drop shafts and 6km long tunnel to replace the existing concrete sewer pipe along the shore.Responsibilities were daily displacement monitoring of the service shafts providing timely and accurate survey setout, control, asbuilt and topographic data and survey information to the site Engineers and supervisors for Project Hobson. Training Engineering cadets with the understanding of surveying.

The project comprises the reconstruction and extension of the existing Esmonde Rd Interchange and construction of the adjacent Busway Stage 1A, Fred Thomas Drive Extension and Bus Station access roads; incorporating 6 bridge structures, five traffic signal controlled intersections, 5km of single and two lane dual carriageways of traditional and concrete pavement construction, along with all the other associated work necessary to complete this section of the Esmonde Road Interchange and Busway Project. Busway Stage 1B includes 1.3km of two lane, two way carriageway, retaining and culvert works, also a tunnel section and new ramps at Northcote Rd Intersection.
