Position : Sr. Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager Duration : October 2023 – PresentProjects : - Al Khandaq Battle - Badan Headquarters - Rua Al Madinah- District 9 Cluster 2 - Al Wadi Development Company HQ, etc.Location : Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.Duties and Responsibilities:• Developing cost plans and estimates through the design phase, delivering updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones. • Providing commercial input to design optioneering and input into value engineering exercises.• Reviewing contractor and subcontractor pricing and leading negotiations to drive fair contract prices. • Analyze Existing Cost Data and Utilize Benchmark Information for Accurate Cost Estimate.• Attend design meetings and workshops with clients to discuss project requirements and specifications.• Prepare Bills of quantities for civil, infrastructure, and buildings works following CSI master format and method of measurement.• Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages• Utilize advanced software applications such as Sketchup, Revit, Cost X, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, Excel, and Microsoft Office for efficient cost management tasks.• Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis and compiling the contractual documents.• Producing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the client.• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management activities throughout the project life cycle. • Ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreed in a timely manner. • Compile as built cost estimate records for bench marking purpose.
