 Attend VSCC meeting and co-ordinate with yard personals, contractor & owner to ensure permit to work system are implemented. Engineering activities of personnel on board vessels and at workshop to ensure effective output to the company Ensure overall works are carried out in accordance with the customer’s specification & Acceptable working practices. Plan, lead and supervise production team to ensure on time delivery and mange & deploy of manpower. Liaise and coordinate with internal & external parties including owner’s representative. Planning arranging assigning & controlling all work assigned under my department. Responsible for coordination of all operation & commissioning to special project. Update project tools, documentations & disseminate to project team. Responsible for MC ITR and all kinds of commissioning activities carryout by yard. Installation of various types of valves, pumps, deck crane, monorail crane, mooring winch. Lifeboat winch, gear box carry out inspection with class surveyor & owner representative. Carryout mechanical completion, Inspection test report, pre-commissioning, commissioning under mechanical works scope. My job philosophy is to service high quality projects safely, productivity, quality on time and budget.  Carryout mechanical inspection of the component and prepare inspection report and submit to the customer for perusal. Mechanical repairs are carried out in accordance with the customer’s specification & Acceptable working practices. Responsible for mechanical works carried out in the machinery shop in the yard premises. Closely works with quality inspector to ensure the quality of the production. Liaise with sales department to ensure the delivery of the component. Liaise with owner/class attending surveyor and make sure satisfied inspection of the component. Responsible for ordering the materials which required for overhauling the machinery component in the workshop.

 Carryout mechanical completion, prepare inspection test procedure, pre-commissioning, commissioning report under mechanical sector. Inspect/witness of the mechanical installation of the machinery equipment which carried by third parties such as sub-contractors/vendors etc. Prepare weekly commissioning report and submit to the department head and project manager for review and comment. Co-ordinate with owner representative to ensure the works is being done in correct manner. Support commissioning engineer to carry out the task in safe manner.

 Carryout mechanical installation of various types of valves/pumps/pneumatic motor in accordance with manufacturer instruction. Responsible for dismantle/installation/overhauling of the deck machinery component by using a group of team member. Control and supervise the deck machinery related tasks under the machinery and mechanical department. Liaise with yard contractor/vendor/sub-contractor to ensure the tasks are completing in proper manner and ensure the time frame of the tasks. Responsible for assign contractor/sub-contractor/ vendor.  Support Mechanical Engineer to complete the project within the given schedule.

 Get instruction form the supervisors/Forman to carry-out mechanical task. Such as overhauling of the pumps/valves/air motor etc. Carry-out deck machinery related works. Such as overhauling of ram cylinder, hydraulic operated actuator and hydraulic related mechanical components. Servicing of pressure-vacuum valves in the workshop and carry out function test. Installation and testing of the turret bearing with project team.
