An educator with nearly 10 years of experience in the classroom and community schools, I graduated from Wayne State University with a Masters in Library Information Science. I hope to build academic success inside and outside the classroom using the library as a central resource. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, namely underrepresented and diverse school districts. I understand how to tailor resources to meet the needs of all. Seeking a position where my leadership, skills and experience can be utilized to foster academic success for all students through effective instruction, instill a love for literacy, shared-decision making, reflective practices, a focus on student achievement and collaborate with all members of the schools community to meet the needs of the student.
