- OS and application Adminstration:- Site creation and customization- Deploy Sharepoint, MSSQL Server and other integrated application on new environments.- Relocate old Sharepoint web applications to new environments. - Perform application tuning and performance monitoring- Setup and maintain documentation and standards for both application and database- Install software that supports the environment- Maintain system, application, security and SharePoint, IIS event logs- Manage Windows cluster services- Maintain and manage site and sub-site backup - Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams- Patch Management and Version Control for OS and web application alike- Database administration:- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures- Take care of the Database design and implementation- Implement and maintain database security- Perform database tuning and performance monitoring- Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)
