With guidance from the Operations Processing Manager the Operations Supervisor will provide leadership within the core environment and direct the processing of human tissue for transplantation in accordance with Good Tissue Practices. Significant duties include supervision of 5-15 employees, fostering a positive work environment, modeling professional behavior and drive performance and behavior accountability, ensuring adherence to processing schedules and consistent graft throughput and documentation, maintaining appropriate headcount levels in accordance with production needs as well as addressing behavioral or performance issues in a timely manner.- Establish a culture of safety and handle and report all injuries in accordance with company safety policy and procedure.- Ensure all established work instructions, standard operating procedures, and product specifications are followed at all times.- Develop, review and revise standard operating procedures, work instructions, and product specifications.- Drives processing schedules and adjusts work assignments to maximize resource utilization and ensure adherence to daily schedules.- Track and trend productivity measures and department metrics provide timely communication to Operations management and shifts.- Lead processing personnel and develop a successful, competent, reliable and professional team by mentoring, coaching, and conducting effective performance and behavior evaluations.- Oversee time and attendance of technicians and ensure timely completion of performance reviews and promotion of qualified staff.- Participate in projects impacting core operations and maintain consistent cross-functional communication with departments, shifts, and management.- Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and company policies.

Under direct guidance, process human tissue for transplantation in accordance with Good Tissue Practices. Enhance core technician proficiency through technical guidance and foster a positive and productive work environment by modeling professional behavior. Utilize technical knowledge for assisting in the implementation of new projects or processes in functional area.- Adhere to standardized, hands on technical training in accordance with current and revised SOPs, established work instructions and product specifications in designated functional area.- Achieve the competency level necessary to safely and accurately process human tissue using power equipment, scientific equipment, and surgical instruments.- Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, safety practices and company policies.- Accurately record processing data and information in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.- Train and develop processing skills of junior technicians with guidance of functional area trainer. Work closely with Operation Trainers in functional area to provide standardized training and necessary feedback.- Review, comprehend, adhere to and articulate standard operating procedures, work instructions, and specifications.- Evaluate and resolve issues related to productivity, quality, and sterility of tissue.- Participate in process improvement projects impacting core operations by being a key contact for technical knowledge in functional area.- Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and company policies.
