I acted as a software developer and partner working at a small startup focused on mobile apps for Android and iOS platforms. Our main product is IOTAS (it's OK to ask someone), a SMS-based text line that provides human generated responses to questions with guarantees of timely responses. My primary responsibilities included U/I and server backend development, interfacing our product with the Twilio REST API, and coordinating with other team members to set tasks and deadlines for deliverables. We ported our app to MeteorJS to support Android, iOS deployments, and desktop website access.As of March 2017 IOTAS has fielded responses to over 1k questions in the Pittsburgh area.
