I successfully oversaw the construction of a 100 km highway, connecting Northern Nigeria's Fotok area to the capital city of Abuja. My responsibilities included supervising the implementation of sub base and stone base layers, bitumen asphalt, sideways, lighting infrastructure, and box culvert integration. Monitoring the progress of trades and subcontractors ensured compliance with safety regulations and maintained high-quality workmanship. Leading a team of over 20 workers and managing a fleet of 30 heavy machinery units, I strategically reduced transportation costs by selecting nearby machinery, resulting in significant savings for the project. The completed highway stands as a testament to effective coordination, quality construction, and improved connectivity for the region.

Project 1: Delta Region Road Maintenance (2015-2021)This project includes the maintenance of a 40-kilometre road in the delta region of Nigeria. It involved basic taskssuch as maintenance, cut and fill, stone base installation, and culvert construction.Project 2: Warri Airport, Delta State (2013-2015)This project includes the establishment of a domestic airport in the Warri area of Nigeria, including theconstruction of a control tower.In my role, I successfully coordinated with various stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and local communities, ensuring project success and stakeholder satisfaction. Conducting regular site inspections, I monitored construction activities and swiftly addressed any non-conformances with codes or standards. Efficiently managing logistics and transportation, I facilitated the timely delivery of materials and machinery, reducing costs. Committed to continuous learning, I stayed up-to-date with the latest construction techniques and environmental and safety regulations. Additionally, I maintained thorough documentation of project activities, including progress reports and material logs. Through these efforts, I contributed to the seamless execution of construction projects, prioritizing stakeholder needs, compliance, and efficient project management.

Papua New Guinea

I provided oversight for the construction of a comprehensive aviation infrastructure project, including a 3,500-meter runway, taxiway, and apron, as well as vital support facilities such as a control tower, terminal building, and maintenance hangar. Throughout the project, I ensured strict adherence to project specifications, quality control measures, safety protocols, and construction codes, resulting in the successful completion of the project without any delays. Despite the challenges posed by the mountainous region, significant earthworks were executed flawlessly, while also ensuring the seamless installation of airfield lighting and navigational aids. Due to our unwavering commitment to safety, we were recognized twice for our adherence to safety protocols, resulting in zero life penalty incidents. Managing a workforce of over 50 workers and a fleet of more than 200 machines, I ensured efficient coordination and supervision of all construction activities.

United Arab Emirates

As the supervisor of a residential building construction project, my role involves overseeing and coordinating all on-site construction activities to ensure they align with project plans, specifications, and timelines. I work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to interpret and implement construction plans while also considering client requirements. Thorough inspections are conducted to verify the quality of work, materials, and installations, and I promptly address any construction deficiencies or deviations from the plans. Keeping accurate documentation of inspections, progress reports, and change orders is essential for tracking project milestones and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. United Arab Emirates

Project: Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab EmiratesI played a crucial role in the construction of four buildings at Al Dhafra Air Base, UAE, which comprised an underground floor and two above-ground levels. Working closely with a skilled construction team of more than 200 workers, we ensured the project's successful completion. To prioritize safety, we implemented top-of-the-line fire safety measures, including the installation of Fire Apparatus Technology (FAT) and FM 200 fire suppression systems. Additionally, I provided oversight for the construction of Building 232, which was dedicated to monitoring and air tracking, as well as the larger-scale Building 237, serving as the operations center.
