Uber Tech Lead for GCS Data Plane responsible for all bytes read and written into GCS and Blobstore. GCS and Blobstore are planet scale storage systems that store and serve efficiently exabytes of the world's largest datasets.Drove architecture evolution of GCS Data Plane to provide higher reliability, performance and developer velocity. This included launching industry leading products like GCS Turbo Replication which makes 100% of the data geo-diverse across regions in 15 mins backed by an SLA.

Tech Lead on Google Search Infrastructure team which serves as the primary backend for google.com (code-named Muppet). Made architectural changes to enable Google Search Infrastructure to become Search-as-a-Service to all of Google Products. Required fundamental changes to allow for arbitrarily flexible data layouts, custom user-space isolation and flexible shard scheduling. My work enabled 10+ critical services like Google Autocomplete to serve from a shared service rather than custom deployments and saved 200+ SWEs worth of machine resources.
