Plan and execute an active research agenda that fits the organization’s mission, including research design, client management, staff recruitment and training, report authoring, report design, and public presentations. Publish academic quality research reports, create data-driven content for campaigns and social media, and quantitatively assess the organization’s impact. As the organization’s graphic designer, create print and digital materials for marketing, fundraising, web and social media, and promotional materials, and maintain brand consitency for the organization.

The Tate, Etienne, and Prevost (TEP) Center is a civil rights museum and interpretative space founded by Dr. Leona Tate. I provide strategic guidance while supporting fundraising and community initiatives to advance the center’s mission of preserving New Orleans' civil rights history and advancing racial equity in education.

Managed the Geena Davis Content Analysis Team (GDI CAT), recruited, trained, and managed researchers to conduct hand-coded research focused on issues of representation in media. Worked collaboratively to develop best practices and highly reliable data analysis metrics. Helped design and implement research plans and codebooks. Employed USC’s Vatic program to approximate gender and race in digital media.

Observe early learning centers in the Greater New Orleans area to help them make improvements and better understand the domains and dimensions of Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS), work one on one with contract observers to reach inter-coder reliability, enter data into the State Portal as well as the MyTeachstone platform as a professional development tool, compile data analysis reports and administrative office tasks.

Co-created the Living Museum, a neighborhood museum and oral history archive in the historically Black Lower Ninth Ward neighborhood, including structural design of the space, curating and designing print and digital content, and promoting the organization. Ran the day-to-day operations of the Lower Ninth Ward Living Museum, managed fundraising operations, supervised volunteer staff members, organized, conducted and maintained oral histories, planned and executed community events in the museum space, worked with board of directors on annual plan, maintained the organization's online presence, tracked and maintained visitor data.

Work as Contract Interviewer for the LSU T. Harry Williams Center for Oral History, recruit interview candidates for Mossville History Project, complete background research for project, plan and conduct oral history interviews in accordance with oral history best practices as set out by the Oral History Association.

Worked independently to maintain data entry and integrity of Louisiana Kindergarten Readiness Study, conducted and reported results of PreK CLASS observations at 12 pre-kindergarten classrooms in Orleans Parish, conducted interviews using computerized and paper-pencil interviewing materials designed to assess a broad range of tailored and comprehensive cognitive scores and classroom behaviors with students, provided assessment of children's academic and self-regulation skills, administered questionnaires and interviews of school personnel and parents, updated and revised study files, and worked collaboratively with other research staff to assist with data entry and coding as needed.
