I have a passion for stream lining processes through automation and system design. I enjoy automating processes and improving processes as well as designing large scale systems in such a way that they lend themselves well to expansion and maintenance. It has also become a priority of mine to include ample documentation, beyond the user's manual and source code documentation.The more I become obsessed with the art of software engineering the more and more I realize the importance of system design. I also served as a field support team member for a period of time towards the end of my time there. I served as a team lead for a test effort involving personnel from Romania, England, Oregon, Minnesota, California and Arizona. Working at IBM was an excellent opportunity that I am very grateful for. -
CoopIbm May 2003 - Dec 2004Armonk, New York, Ny, UsDuring my COOP at IBM I developed automated test systems for IBM's enterprise level tape storage systems as well as developing automated testing facilities for the ESS 800 enterprise storage system. This was my first introduction to Object Oriented programming and has really set the tone for the rest of my career... so far. An absolutely fantastic learning experience!!!

This was my break into real world programming and a welcome into the industrial world as well. MTEC definitely helped mold my career and spark my interest in the software field.Since it is a little unclear from the descriptions available. MTEC is a company associated with New Mexico State University specializing in civil and mechanical engineering as well engineering technology.
