The company owned 9 storage facilities over 3 states and included 6 different brands. Each time a new facility was acquired, we looked for opportunities to increase ROI and local market share. Most of the time, ownership elected to maintain the name recognition at each facility or group of facilities acquired.It was my job to enhance each of the brands recognition in the community and online. I redesigned all of the branding (logos, digital/print collateral, etc.) for each new acquisition, developed a marketing strategy with KPI's focusing on tenant acquisition, resales, and retention. This always involved the development and maintenance of each brands website, continually improving upon the SEO, SEM, PPC, etc. I focused on building tools that made it easy for new customers to make their online reservations and existing customers to pay their bills. In order to meet some deadlines, I brought in technology experts that I've built relationships with over the years. We collaborated and strategized goals and expectations and then I lead the team to completing those goals and completing the next step in the companies growth.Through successful marketing and business strategies, I enjoyed in the companies success to the point where each of the facilities became 80-90% occupied and profitable year over year. The last year or so that I worked there, a unique opportunity to sell some of the businesses for exceedingly high profits came about, so the owners decided to sell. I loved Catch-Frayz and the team we built over the years. I proudly handed the customer accounts over to my friend and design manager Dustin as he decided to form his own company and I took on a new role as the Marketing Director for Security Storage. My new role has allowed me to work mostly from home, but I do make it into the Corporate Woods office here and there. I also make visits to our storage facilities, enjoy company events, and even some fun trips to trade shows in Vegas. Catch-Frayz was my first adventure as a small business owner, but I look forward to everything the future has in store!
