Worked on researching and building Machine Learning solutions to improve the offline understanding of customers and associated mobility patterns using all sorts of location data, for a variety of use-cases for both Online and Offline Retail, and creation of Customer personas and embeddings to have a better understanding of the customer for appropriate targeting, as a part of the Rakuten Institute of Technology(RIT).

◦ Appointment No Show prediction: The US healthcare industry loses more than $150 billion a year to appointment no-shows alone, tackling this issue using predictive modelling for one of the business clients.◦ Potential savings of $50000 for one of the business clients: Built a Random Forest Classifier with an AUC-ROC score of 0.85, along with local interpretation of each predicted data point using LIME.◦ Advanced Feature Engineering: Using existing raw data to create advanced useful features, and using web scraping to develop external features, improving the predictive power of the model◦ Technology Stack: Python, PyData Stack, LIME, BeautifulSoup, AWS Redshift, AWS Sagemaker

Mentored pre-university students with Public Lab being a part of the Google Code-in, an annual programming competition hosted by Google Inc. that allows pre-university students to complete tasks specified by various, partnering open source organizations to work on their projects.

· Selected for a fully sponsored startup exposure trip/residential training at Silicon Valley(San Francisco, California) from the Department of IT and Communication, Government of Rajasthan, for being selected amongst top 100 student entrepreneurs in Rajasthan from a pool of more than 20000 applicants.· Vision.ai is a SaaS based tool that helps ophthalmologists in the identification of diabetic retinopathy using Machine Learning with an average accuracy of 70%.· The model used is different than other deep learning models, which are a black-box and are not interpretable, our model can help the ophthalmologist understand the reason behind a certain prediction made by our model, and can significantly reduce and automate the detection time taken by manual detection process.· A B2B business model with a revenue generation plan, targeting big hospitals, by providing a SaaS based solution.· Further shortlisted(amongst the top 6 out of 100) for a chance to pitch my product in front of investors at The Silicon Valley Bank.

Creating a developer community on the campus and conducting events and workshops for making campus students more friendly to various technologies, primarily Machine Learning and Web Development, expanding the open-source culture of the campus, working closely with the Microsoft Student Partners team to organize events and promote Microsoft Azure, being a campus representative. Also, working on the online marketing campaign of Ruuh, a chatbot released by Microsoft.

Development Internship as a Full Stack Web Developer for Infra IT Solutions, a Texas-based E-Commerce company selling IT Products on the internet across Texas. As a Web Developer intern, I Worked on OpenCart to develop an E-Commerce platform for the company to sell IT products. The company was facing several issues in their payment gateways and wanted to shift to PayPal, and I had integrated the PayPal API within the existing Infrastructure.

Worked as a Frontend developer on the core platform, on one of the best EdTech startups in New York, making use of data science to predict admission decisions to the best possible schools based on GRE and GMAT Scores. I was responsible for creating the platform UI(dashboard) for students and mentors using the platform, parallelly working in sync with the backend team to integrate both, testing & fixing bugs and issues in the platform and optimization of the same, incorporating best web practices to ensure low-latency page loading, for a hassle-free experience to all the registered users on the platform, all completed within a month.
