As member of the executive board, manage technical implementation of collaboration and analytical platforms that enable the sharing of cyber threat information between federal government agencies and the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).

Provided Cyber Threat Analytical support to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on behalf of the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) in the form of patterned-based threat detection and heuristic-based detection through machine-learning analysis. Integrated Manticore into a cloud-based training platform supporting Defensive Cyber Operations for Space (DCO-S) operators with US Space Force.

Provided Cyber Threat Analytical support to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on behalf of the US Army Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO).• Designed, developed, and administered a distributed Splunk deployment comprised of over 30 nodes to support the National Defense Cyber Alliance (NDCA).• Functioned as the lead systems integrator for NDCA among FBI, industry partners, and the Intelligence Community (IC).• As a Task Force Member (TFM), performed cyber threat analysis for the FBI casework.• Led training events in search techniques in Splunk and the Malware Information Sharing Platform (MISP) for patterns indicating potentially malicious cyber threat activity.

Provided Cyber Forensics Analytical support to the Counterintelligence Program at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).• Designed, developed, and administered six Splunk deployments to analyze network logs for potential malicious cyber threat activity. Deployments ranged from distributed enterprise architectures to tactical laptop implementations.• Developed portable tool suites to perform passive network collection and threat analysis.• Performed forensics analysis of information technology assets to identify and report potential insider threat activity or foreign influence.

Provided Huntsville representation for the Information Assurance Manager (IAM) for the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Also provided embedded Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE) support to the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Program.• Authored the security engineering analysis for the Capability Delivery (CD)-03 Technical Assessment Report for the GMD Program.• Delivered technical reviews of Information Assurance (IA) content in contractors’ proposals and supported government acquisition of IA products and services.• Coordinated information assurance (IA) efforts to mitigate vulnerabilities and exposure to potential cyber threats resulting from BMDS’s architectural changes.

Managed Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) testing, parallel testing, and operational software upgrades for the Non-Traditional Communications System (NTCS) Program, a mission communications program.• Managed the Training and System Test Facility (TSTF), a multi-level lab where all new software and hardware was integrated, tested, and evaluated prior to operational deployment.• Automated IV&V execution and analysis through custom-developed tools in C++, Microsoft VBA, Lotus Script, Windows NT command scripts, UNIX shell scripts and SQL scripts.

As a Systems Engineer, implemented automated network management solutions for LAN and telecommunications equipment to monitor availability and performance. Designed, developed, and administered messaging systems providing secured communications for multiple government customers. As a Senior Security Analyst, developed checklists and test scripts to automate Security Readiness Reviews (SRRs) on UNIX and Windows NT systems for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
