I was a voting board member of the Citrus County Economic Development Council representing technology interest in Citrus County.

I worked on the development and support of an OpenVMS and Oracle based electronic tolling system called ARCS. My duties include supporting day to day operations, resolving critical system failures to design issues. This system has been based on DEC VAX and DEC Alpha with a recent migration to HP Itanium based hardware. The realtime component of the RFID system is LINUX based running on Industry Standard server hardware and custom sub-systems.

This was a a very enjoyable position with abundant customer contact working not only technical issues but customer care issues as well.

Sr. Consultant for Gulf States Government District supporting the sales of Real-Time systems, OpenVMS, VAXeln, RSX-11, PDP-11s, VAXs and components. I worked on RFPs, gave pre-sales presentation and was the OpenVMS and realtime systems subject matter expert for the district sales manager.

Worked as the Customer Support Systems Engineering (CSSE) engineer for RDBeln and as one of the 2 CSSE engineers on Nighthawk, DIgital's never released Database Machine. In this position I was responsible for the creation of Services documentation, field training material and on-site support for both hardware and software.

Support Engineer for the Southern Region supporting all DEC Hardware (PDP, VAX, storage, realtime and industrial systems) and software (RT-11, RSTS, RSX-11, OS8, MUMPS, VMS, ELN). As the 3rd level support resource I not only had to handle very complex hardware and software failures, but very complex customer interaction.
