I am a science and technology enthusiast with a long-time professional background in network and datacenter security. The things in life that matters most to me are making a lasting efforts towards space exploration, living a healthy and fitness oriented life and enabling others, especially employees, friends and people i work with, to reach their full potential. Professional wise, i got a strong knowledge about the fundamentals of classic and modern operating systems and network architectures. For over 12 years i have worked, in projects mostly for very large government entities such as states offices and ministries but also for larger private entities such as pharmaceutical and industrial companies. These project covered all aspects of IT Datacenter management and security from the obvious fields of designing infrastructures, security concepts, firewall systems and access solutions to the not so obvious fields of data archival, long term retention and one of the most complex topics high availability in all shapes and sizes. As part of these projects i developed a personal speciality and love for the topic of mobile device security.Science and space technology wise, being the founder and CEO of the Part-Time Scientists GmbH I have for the past 8 years developed a strong understanding for the urgent need in establishing commercially viable way to access space. Together with a strong network of partners, sponsors and customers we are challenging ourselves to find new ways to cut the costs and development time of space technologies. My personal vision is that with these technologies we will enable small governments, research institutions, as well most importantly medium sized enterprises with access to space. This includes as of today exotic destinations such as the Moon, Asteroids and Mars.
