Focused on designing and building a photoelectrochemical water electrolysis device for hydrogen production and optimizing it via simulation analysis. Developed a software tool in Matlab for simulations using a multiphysics approach based on the finite-element method. Computational models were validated with experimental data of an operating cuprous oxide photocathode. Demonstrated acceptor doping control in electrodeposited cuprous oxide and investigated impact on photocathode performance for solar hydrogen production. Optimization of the studied cuprous oxide - Si tandem solar water-splitting device showed improved solar-to-hydrogen efficiency from 2.4 % to 10.7 %.

Maintained & improved Python data pipeline for global stakeholders and contributed to Tableau cost reporting dashboards for COGS optimization. Provided users with on-demand access to data via SQL queries & Power Query. Designed, implemented and analyzed company-wide survey to narrow. focus of Operations BI department on most impactful products.

Discovered and studied a new aqueous battery cathode material (chromium-hexacyanoferrate). I optimized the electrodeposition synthesis protocol, characterized the material via electrochemical methods (CVS and EIS) and XPS and tested its performance in various electrolytes. This work was expanded into a M.Sc. thesis project which resulted in building a symmetric pseudocapacitor storage device with a voltage of 0.95 V and 88 mAh/g specific capacity at 10 C rate, with great capacity retention up to 100 C and excellent stability of 1000 charge-discharge cycles.
