Senior Associate Commissioning Engineer
CurrentCommissioning professional dedicated to developing and implementing commissioning procedures within the building industry for projects to 500K SF. Create and implement commissioning plans, construction check lists, site acceptance test procedures, and integrated system test procedures. Conduct on-site quality control inspections using documents created for site specific requirements. Work with owner, contractor, design team, and other consultants to ensure the customer project requirements are met and the customer’s expectations are exceeded. Previous experience, in addition to commissioning and start-up work, includes serving as a HVAC mechanic (with training in the US Marine Corps). Other experience includes the repair and installation of control systems, (Siemens, Johnson, Honeywell, Metasys, Alerton, and ALS), refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, fire life safety, and electrical systems. Knowledgeable of LonWorks, Modbus, and Tridium Niagara. Mechanical system work includes serving as a technician and field service supervisor for Central Plant work: chillers (to 1500 ton), AC units, boilers, and cooling towers. Capable of working with the test and balance team to commission mechanical systems. Other work includes; serving as a Chief/Stationary Building Engineer for various facilities in the Los Angeles area. Markets served include; hospitals, office/high-rise, data centers/mission critical, schools, government/military, hotel-hospitality, and broadcast facilities. Experience is supported by knowledge of the following software programs: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Bluebeam, and Hobo Date Loggers.
