Rob advised on complex commercial transactions: telecom networks, network sharing, interconnection and access, MVNO/MVNE, roaming, broadcast and transmission, construction, maintenance and operation of terrestrial and sub-sea cable systems, satellites, cloud, mobile services and applications, digital and mobile money, e-commerce and m-commerce, sourcing and procurement, robotic and AI process automation, customer, resale distribution and partnering arrangements. Rob advised on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and equity and debt investments, and provide strategic counsel to companies and their boards. Rob has extensive experience in cross-border transactions and structuring foreign investment into emerging markets.

Rob founded and managed Olswang’s first office in Asia. In 5 years, he set up and led the office from start-up to become Singapore’s leading international telecoms, media and technology law firm in Singapore as independently ranked by Chambers and Legal 500.It was a successful and profitable office with over 30 staff, and local law alliance offices in Singapore and Hong Kong and regional network of local counsel.All office members took part in CSR activities and we we recognised with a number of awards for our CSR engagement and work.
