FMC Technologies develops and deploys large mechanical and electrical systems used for deepsea crude oil extraction. My role involved primarily designing and testing of the network infrastructure that supported topside (oil rigs or vessels) to subsea communications of various oil fields.. The topside network consisted of Cisco ME3400, IE3000 and 3560 L2-3.
