Working for Altera (former Teekay) in the Finance & Accounting department for 18 years, has been a journey in both company structure changes and working process changes. Altera-group consist of over hundred legal companies located in various countries. As manager for Corporate Accounting department, I have got experience in different and challenging accounting-issues and a constantly focus to make processes effective for accounting and internal reporting.I have also experience in implementing accounting systems, and when we implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP in 2020, I was a part of the project leader-group and had significant responsibility. As manager, I was responsible for preparing financial statements and tax-forms in Norway. In additional, I was responsible leader for the accounting of onshore cost and allocation of onshore cost between the companies in the Altera-group.In January 2023 I started in a new position in the Tax and Legal department. My main responsibilities are to make sure that Altera delivers tax returns in all our different tax jurisdictions we are operating in and the company’s global transfer pricing documentation, but I am sure it will come more into this new role.
