Currently responsible for securing and defending a 14 million-dollar infrastructure enabling 600 Joint personnel, in-conjunction with 17 Partner Nations, to facilitate interdiction and apprehension to reduce the flow of drugs and degrade and dismantle Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCOs). Additionally, enables the execution of JIATFS operations, leveraging all-domain capabilities to target, detect and monitor illicit drug trafficking in the air and maritime domains, within the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility.Additionally, assigned as the additional duty First Sergeant for 75 AFELM members in this Joint environment, responsible for the morale, welfare, and conduct of all the enlisted members. This role is also the chief advisor to the AFELM Commander concerning the enlisted force.

Led 14 personnel that maintained the Joint Interface Control Cell extension team for USSOUTHCOM. This team utilized a Communications Fly-Away Kit, MOJO mini radio, PRC-117Gs, and PRC-160s to deploy in the South America AOR and provide Air Picture back to key leaders. We support 250 personnel during day to day operations, and up to 1100 personnel during contingency efforts and exercises.

Maintaining the Air Operations Center Weapon System serving the USSOUTHCOM air space. Utilizing Cisco's Nexus 9Ks, 3850 switches, ISE, and CUCM infrastructure worth 115 million dollars we support 250 personnel during day to day operations, and up to 1100 personnel during contingency efforts and exercises.

Managed a team consisting of 2 civilians and 3 military personnel maintaining and installing classified circuits and networks for the worlds foremost intelligence community. First in the Air Force to implement the new Raytheon KG350 encryption devices, providing a 10 fold bandwidth upgrade for our customers. Along with the Raytheon KG350s I also specialized in General Dynamics' KG175D, KG175G, and KG175X.

I installed, managed, troubleshot, and coordinated authorized outages for more than 800 long haul communications circuits that traveled across three different continents and connects Joint Service communications across all seven combatant commands. On top of managing circuits, I was also in charge of any major installation and timely fix actions of HVAC and power outages to protect the largest Technical Control Facility in Europe worth 600 million dollars. While there I specialized in Cisco ONS 15454, Cisco DWDM infrastructure, Cisco CPT, Juniper CTP, fiber maintenance tools, and passive intrusion detection software.

Managed and installed Network Services to include Switchs, Modems, VOIPs, VTCs, and PCs, for 1500 clients.

Handpicked to go re-image, install, patch vulnerabilities and troubleshoot client PCs. Also, while there also managed a $300K tech refresh replacing Cisco 3750 switches with new Cisco 3850 switches, increasing bandwidth and reliability to 300 Joint members. During this time I also installed and managed various network devices including: two Cisco routers, 8 VTCs for the Senior Defense Official for Turkey, and various VOIPs, Citrix VPN services, and 8 General Dynamic's encryption devices. While there I learned various different aspects outside of my scope including data center management, power installations, and fiber installation.
