Lead a group of Americorp Teaching Fellows and Associate teachers through Envisioneers expanded learning program(ELP). Our mission: To combat systemic inequalities in public education, fostering and cultivating academic and SEL skills for our scholars via program success metrics. Expose our scholars to engaging project-based learning and meet community mentors. Apprenticeships are embedded into the program via kinesthetic learning.

Co-lead inmersion trip to Tecate México to build houses for needed families as part of the Jesuit philosophy or service to others. Moderated Bells skateboarding and Tedtalk club. Responsible for 28 maintenance technicians across 4 shifts designated to the Electroplating, Chemical Mechanical Polishing and Etch tool sets.

Responsible for developing and delivering long term maintenance systems solutions for all affected areas within maintenance. Introducing industry standard maintenance protocols. Providing support across multiple organizational groups within Western Digital's Maintenance departments.•Developed and coordinated a Maintenance Certification Online test program. Developed an audit system utilizing maintenance Lead personnel across 4 shifts. Audit resulted in 30% improvement and yielded 95% average score improvement. •Introduced new Operational and maintenance documentation formats including accompanying certification checklist into Documentation Control system. Contributed to the improvement and quality of several Equipment Maintenance Policy specs clarifying procedural protocols.

Support the organization’s goals and objectives by developing and implementing training and organization development programs and processes, including a variety of training delivery, group facilitation, team development, program design for the maintenance department. Focus on online certification programs, team development, performance evaluation and maintenance efficiencies. • Utilized ADDIE IDM to develop in-house training initiatives. Developed a company customized training agenda outlining critical training needs requested by engineering management team. Conducted all pre-training needs and evaluation assessments via self-developed Electronic evaluation forms. • Championed Documentation Review Teams. Lead Bi-weekly scheduled DRT meetings attended by equipment maintenance teams and engineering. The main objectives were to develop documentation streamlining opportunities and audit specs for procedural discrepancies. Developed "System Functionality" spec to clearly describe discrete modules, their basic functionality, relevance to the tool and to support future new employee training. Tracked team effectiveness via S.M.A.R.T goals system to effectively grade team performance. • Leading the integration of maintenance online fabrication certification program. Key role is in developing, tracking, auditing and administering online test and reporting back to Equipment Director.

Working on next generation CIGS sputtering systems. Develop maintenance efficiencies to reduce Tool downtime and maintenance variability.•Re-configured offline leak-checking fixture to take full advantage of restricted floor space as well as rough pump and turbo pump capabilities. New configuration vastly streamlined leak-checking CIGS doors and reduced frustration for the technicians performing the task. Wrote procedure that included supporting photographs and trained all shifts. Off-line leak checking now only requires 6 man-hours compared to 12 man-hours prior to the configuration change.•Reduced abatement safety enclosure set-up time by 75%. Developed an Abatement Station comprised of frame system that reduced prep time from 2 hours down to 30 minutes. Obtained management support to proliferate the system, documented the new set-up procedure, performed training across all shifts, and designed 5s storage area for the framework and hardware. Abatement of hazardous chemicals/use of the abatement framework is required before any intrusive maintenance of the roll coaters which magnifies the benefits of the resulting man-hour reduction.

Pioneered and developed a new and innovative comprehensive, curriculum based approach to training new employees. • Developed and piloted Solyndra’s NET (New Employee Training) program. Collaborated with shift supervisors, human resources, operations managers and engineers on building a comprehensive training program with certification specification and qualification tracking. Certifications included subject matter requirements, required performed actions, oral and written examinations that covered all aspects of the maintenance and operation of the tool. Program widely accepted and celebrated amongst all affected departments. • Owned and re-wrote entire system PM maintenance checklist (32 Pages) for increased efficiency on all CIGS Evaporative systems in manufacturing. Further enhanced the process by creating controlled electronic version. Trained all affected personnel across all shifts on proper downloading, saving and utilization of document.• Decreased Equipment PM time by introducing a “Swap Cart” concept that allowed a shield cleaning process to be performed offline thus eliminating a mayor PM time constraint. Documented the new set-up procedure, trained all shifts, and designed 5S storage area for the framework and hardware. • Developed a visual work flow chart to improve the cleaning and stripping methods of CIGS debris from chamber structures of a process source table, decreasing task times from an hour to approximately 15 minutes. Performed training for new procedure on all shifts. • Increased efficiency for Slit Valve Maintenance PM tasks utilizing failure Pareto charts and time study data to reduce PM time from 8 to 1.5 hours increasing availability by 1.2%. Documented set-up procedure, trained all shifts and designed 5S storage area for the framework and hardware.

• Developed a training plan that achieved 100% proficiency for level 2 and 3 maintenance personnel which improved quality of work and reduced downtime for equipment. • Within one quarters time frame, utilized HPM (High Precision Maintenance) methodologies to collect equipment performance metrics (MTTR and MTBF) resulting in equipment availability increase to 90% (up from 62%) with variability near zero. • Utilized data to support, with no impact to production quality, the implementation of a wafer based “skip” system on PM steps with a low probability of failure. This further reduced the amount of total parts cost and tool down time on every scheduled/unscheduled equipment PM. • Chaired the joint Eng-Tech Preventive Maintenance Team and HPM program, resulting in significant improvements in manufacturing constraint tool availability, training, PM quality, and cost/manpower reduction across all shifts. • Published and edited many specialized equipment PM and troubleshooting specs/procedures which were utilized across the Intel Virtual Factory to improve equipment performance and maximize tool availability.• Only equipment maintenance technician across all shifts given spec authoring privileges. Initiated ECO-revision changes, published and edited many specialized equipment PM and troubleshooting specs. Spec changes approved through the Intel Virtual Factory system via white paper.
