Led all strategy and innovation, high-impact projects, key partnerships/alliances, marketing, and communications. Responsible for the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans to leverage existing and new assets across business units in order to ensure the highest return and long-term, escalating value creation. Highly-focused on building strategies for value-extraction, growth and integration of existing businesses, start-ups and M&A entities within the company. Led multiple teams on place-making and user-experience design for mixed-use, multi-family, resort/hospitality and retail development projects. Led innovation planning, experience design and marketing for Lake Nona and Medical City, a 600+ acre health and life sciences cluster that is home to Nemours Children’s Hospital, the VA, UCF College of Medicine, GuildeWell Innovation Center and the UF College of Pharmacology, among others. Responsible for maintaining and growing strategic partnerships with key partner institutions such as IBM Watson, Cisco, Tesla, and GE. In addition, led all innovation related to disruptive technology and digital planning, including multiple engagements with Google sister-companies, Sidewalk Labs and Intersection, exploring and developing the physical retail setting of the future, while bridging the digital experience. Tavistock is a multi-billion dollar holding company with investments in 200+ companies in 11 countries with a focus on real estate development.

Led the strategy and innovation, marketing, communications, corporate training, data analysis and M&A teams in the development of data-based strategies focused on market growth and increasing customer relationship value. Responsibilities included, product and service development, sales and culture training, brand management, advertising, customer data mining and analysis and shareholder communication. Led teams on real estate strategy for branch and market expansion. Member of the five-person executive cabinet responsible for the successful acquisition of two $500M+ companies and the ultimate sale of the regional bank to IberiaBank for a multiple of 2.2 times book value. Worked extensively with IB and M&A groups to evaluate existing and future value through diligence on existing data, marketing and communications audits and market research. Served as Iberia’s Chief Strategy Officer post-sale.

Created a 10-year vision for the 180-acre hospital campus that includes a 122-bed hospital, outpatient service providers, sports medicine institute and the National Training Center. Completed a re-org of the National Training Center, a $10M+ elite athletic facility with over 2,900 members including 30+ Olympians, track and field facility, softball complex, aquatics center and performance lab. Led all strategic planning, experience design, renovations, marketing, communications, government relations and strategic partnership efforts, including the rebrand of the campus to the LiveWell campus. Successfully restructured the National Training Center to increase efficiencies and improve cross-selling and co-dependent lines of business.

Founded and directed all client management and growth strategy, business development, strategic planning, administration and community outreach for one of Florida’s largest strategic planning firms, which included brand design, crisis communications, PR, creative and marketing. Directed the expansion of the firm from a start-up to representing clients such as General Motors, Legoland Florida, Indra Systems, Florida College System, Old Florida National Bank and Orlando Health. Responsible for management and leadership of 30+ person team including a specialized division of nine high-profile, retired C-suite executives from a variety of industries including healthcare, technology, government, economic development and hospitality.Sold the firm in September of 2012.
