The study purposed was to develop and analyze feasible alternatives for grade separations at railroad crossings to alleviate significant traffic delays and congestion caused by train and motorized vehicle traffic.• Project Management responsible for managing the scope, schedule, budget, and project team and overseeing the technical accuracy and quality of the project to meet client specifications outlined in the contract. • Coordinated with the client and subconsultants on a weekly basis to minimize the risks of miscommunication. • Managed a multidisciplinary team that is responsible for evaluating traffic/geometric alternatives. The project provided an additional lane for both directions of mainline pavement.• 3D corridor modeling with PowerGeopak SS4. • Maintained templates to reflect changes in the pavement design and typical sections.• Prepared staged cross sections for earthwork volumes and material calculations. Indiana Department of Transportation: I-70 Pavement ReplacementProvided design services to produce contract documents to INDOT for an added travel lane from the I-70/SR-267 interchange to the I-70/Ronald Reagan Parkway interchange and included pavement reconstruction and rehabilitation of both interchanges. Project length was 2.79 miles with an estimated construction cost of approximately $60 million.• Developed the MOT plan design for this six-lane divided interstate.• Delegated and reviewed tasks to junior staff. • Reviewed quantity estimates and calculation sheets for this scope of work.

2018O'Hare Modernization Program (OMP) Runway 9C-27C Bid Package 3 Chicago Department of Aviation, O’Hare Airport, Chicago, ILRunway 9C-27C and associated taxiways is part of the O’Hare Modernization Program to replace the existing diagonal runways with parallel runways. Bid package 3 encompasses the center portion of runway 9C-27C. This package includes the rehabilitation of Runway 4L-22R and Taxiway A1 as well as portions of Taxiways H, H1, A2, A3, R2, M and NN. Project was for the rehabilitation design of Runway 4L-22R and its associated taxiways. The scope of work included rehabilitating the existing runway pavement with two types of overlays: 3” HMA overlay and a composite 17” PCC on 2” of HMA overlay. The existing shoulders, airfield lighting, and sub drains are also removed and replaced. The total cost of the 4L-22R rehabilitation is projected to be approximately $30 million and rehabilitate over 71,000 SY of runway pavement. • As the lead civil engineer for the runway 4L-22R portion of the project, my responsibilities included confirming the proposed runway pavement section using airplane counts and FAARfield software in accordance with FAA circulars. Developing proposed surfaces for grading and earthwork quantities using Bentley Microstation Select Series 4 with PowerGeopak. Responsible for leading the construction plan development effort and coordination with the prime consultant. Project management responsibilities included running weekly design team meeting and delegating tasks to junior staff. Establishing the quality control schedule and coordinated reviews with senior engineers. Tracking the project schedule and budget. Reviewing and approving time sheets for completed work.

2017American Airlines Ground Equipment Maintenance (GEM) Facility Replacement at O'hare Chicago, ILThis project was a new GEM facility with over 78,333 sf of floor space. Site improvements included over 6 acres of employee and ground support equipment (GSE) parking.• Responsible for designing the site layout and the design of civil utilities such as storm sewer, water main and sanitary sewer. American Airlines Hangar II Replacement at O'hare Chicago, ILThis project consists of a new hangar facility with over 150,000 sf of floor space. Improvements to the site include 2 acres of GSE parking and over 12.5 acres of apron and taxi lane pavement to park 4 additional wide body aircraft or 13 narrow body aircraft. • Responsible for developing a proposed surface and grading model with Bentley Power GEOPAK.2016Chicago Transit Authority (CTA): CTA 95th Street Station Red Line Improvements Design-BuildThis project was for the reconstruction of the existing CTA 95th Street Red Line Terminal and construction of the new terminal to the south. The project included a new south bus bridge, widening of the 95th Street Bridge and the rehabilitation of the north bus bridge, each spanning over the Dan Ryan and CTA tracks. Street level improvements include the construction of pavements, traffic signalization, drainage, and utilities. Civil engineering services include site geometric design, pavement markings and signage, ADA ramps, grading, and maintenance of traffic.• Responsible for the civil engineering plan development.• Attended weekly meetings and coordinated civil design with multiple disciplines and consultants.• Responsible for checking the site plan, profile and grading design. • Delegated multiple tasks and design responsibility to assistant engineering staff. • Designed and produced the Dan Ryan Expressway maintenance of traffic plans for the construction of the CTA station. • Verified that the team was adhering to the quality control plan and standards.

Projects Include:2015Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation (MIT): PTH 101/PTH 59 Interchange Design-BuildThis $204 million design-build contract will build a new interchange at Provincial Trunk Highway 59 and PTH 101 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The project, for owner Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation (MIT), replaces an existing signaled interchange with a loop ramp interchange. Work includes seven precast girder bridges (ranging from approximately 40 to 100 meters in length), and one cast-in-place box culvert through pass, for a total of eight structures. The project also includes construction of 1.5 million cubic meters of interchange embankment, demolition of one existing bridge and roadway updates.• Responsible for the Maintenance of Traffic plan design for this interchange. Under direction from lead engineer I took the proposal plans and brought them in compliance with MIT standards.• Project involved the use of multiple lane shifts/closures in addition to several crossovers. • Provided direction to several associate engineers who were responsible cross section production and traffic signing.

Projects Include:2015Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT): I-65 Added Travel Lanes Design-BuildThis $84 million design-build contract to reconstruct 11 miles of I-65 just south of Indianapolis.• Part of the team that developed the maintenance of traffic plan for the successful technical proposal.• Responsible for development of maintenance of traffic alternatives to meet project goals and reduce construction costs. • Included geometric design, plan production, and modeling of the preferred alternative.2014Illinois Department of Transportation District 2: US 52 over Mississippi River Phase II EngineeringParsons is provided phase II engineering services for the preparation of contract plans for the removal and replacement of the structure that carries US 52 over the Mississippi River near Savanna, Illinois. • Responsible for developing, designing, and drafting the maintenance of traffic plan for the US 52 bridge over the Mississippi River project.• Utilized Illinois Department of Transportation design criteria and standards to develop a plan that allowed safe travel through the work zone and eliminated the need for a costly detour. Accomplished by using a combination of temporary traffic signals, temporary widening, and traffic staging. • Delegated tasks for this assignment to entry level engineers. The maintenance of traffic design was completed within a tight schedule.2013Illinois State Toll Highway Authority: Jane Addams (I-90) Reconstruction Project• Responsible for developing the maintenance of traffic plan for the Genoa Road Interchange with Jane Addams Memorial Tollway Reconstruction.• Assisted with quality assurance for plans and pay item quantities for Harmony Road (Bridge Number 609) and Harmony-Riley Road (Bridge Number 603) over crossing bridge contracts.• Responsible for implement construction revisions for ongoing Westbound Jane Addams Memorial Tollway Widening and Reconstruction between mile post 33.5 to mile post 41.5.

Provided field engineering services as a consultant for the Illinois Department of Transportation, Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, and various municipalities in the Chicago Metropolitan area. Responsibilities include the oversight of pavement rehabilitation/reconstruction, bridge repair/reconstruction, maintenance of traffic, lane striping, storm sewer/underground construction, documentation of contract quantities, and submission of client reports.Projects Include:2013• City of West Chicago: Forest Avenue - Roadway design and plan preparation using Civil 3D and AutoCAD with survey data collected using a Topcon GPS unit.
