A Founding Partner of TrueNorth Consulting, Richard is a persuasive communication expert.  Originally from Canada, Richard has 20 years experience as a trainer and consultant in sales, leadership and strategic communication for many local and global heavyweights including Accenture, Microsoft, Sony, Motorola, McKinsey, Deloitte, BDO, Juton, Volvo, Shell, Exxon, IKEA, Mercuri International, Lowe Worldwide, DNB, Gjensidige, IF, Nordea, Statkraft, Telia, Veidekke, Visma, and many others.After earning degrees in business administration, political science and philosophy in Canada, Richard began his career in 1996 as a corporate communications consultant at Polaris Institute AS.  Already in his second year Richard achieved the leading sales rank. Within four years he rose from senior consultant and managing director to become owner. In 2000, Richard was recruited to join and grow Norway’s first Rhetoric skills training company, Logografia. In 2002 he was promoted to senior consultant and became both partner and managing director in 2003. In addition to training many of Norway’s leading management and sales teams, Richard is proud to have consulted on numerous prestigious projects including Oslo’s 2011 World Ski Championship bid, Sweden’s winning 2016 World Muay Thai Championship bid, and Smart Energy Markets bid for NCE and GCE status securing 5 and 10 year governmental funding respectively. Today, Richard is a partner at TrueNorth Consulting, a leading training & consulting company specialised in creating extraordinary long-term performance improvements in sales, leadership and communication.  He is the training partner for seven national Olympic committees; the European Olympic Committee; UEFA; trains and consults for 16 of Norway’s 20 largest companies and regularly speaks at corporate conferences, universities and colleges.
