Facility of 35.000 m2, 8.000 pallets storage capacity, 400.000 pallets throughput.Implemented Lean Management, new production lines, introduction of KPIs. Agro Merchants Westland is a logistic service provider, mainly import fruit. P&L responsible, fixed staff of 80, flexible staff up to 500 people. Improved EBITDA and revenue by > 25%, reduced customer claims by > 35%. Improved account management and attracted 2 large key accounts. Transformed organization from privately owned to being part of PE-organization. Rebuild team, acquired new machinery, connected 2 large customers by EDI with new technology, setup new service-line, setup new cost-price-model.

I was responsible for the Webshop, Operational Management (order management and purchasing), Warehousing, Production, Management of RTI (returnable transport items), Transport and the ISO Quality System. Direct Reports 5, indirect 70 fte fixed and up to 100 flex-workers. Member of the Management Team.In the last years restructured and improved all logistical departments. Managed yearly growth and high seasonal peaks. Integrated acquired company in the current organisation. Yearly decreased production costs by 5% and customer complaints by 25%. Implemented supply chain throughout the entire operational process which starts and ends at the customer.

Dylan Group distributes steel pipes, steel fittings, steel flanges, solid steel bar and steel valves to all kinds of industries worldwide. I was responsible for 3 warehouses (total 60.000 m2), Production Department, Quality Control & Certificates, Transport and Supply Chain Management Department (direct reports 5, indirect 120 FTE). Member of the International Management Team. Developed additional warehouse of 40,000 m2 and relocated stocks and departments. Implemented several successful improvement projects resulting in improved service levels and a strong productivity and a 25% quality improvement for the logistical departments.
