I have accumulated more than twenty years of experience in the Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) industry, the majority of which has been in some form of Technical or Supporting Role. During this time I have acquired the following relevant skills and experience:• Excellent fault finding and problem solving skills• Product Support on a variety of EPOS systems (Hardware and Software)• Technical and remote support (PCAW, VPN & Remote Desktop) to Customers and Field Service Engineers.• Field Service Engineering, supporting EPOS Hardware and Software• Presales support and sales demonstrations at customer sites as well as at exhibitions• Engineer & Customer Training, compilation of Manuals and user guides.• Installation and Configuration of complete EPOS systems in new sites.• Loading and configuring PC’s, servers, routers, printers for engineers to install on sites. • Networking skills on various hardware and software platforms (i.e. DOS, Windows, PC’s & EPOS systems)• Broad knowledge and experience of supporting MS operating systems (DOS, WinNT, WinXP,Win10 2003 Server, etc)• Hardware Repair (PC’s & Printers etc.) associated with the repair centre I used to supervise.• Ability to organise and prioritise work in an effective manner• Good interpersonal skills and customer handling skills• Ability to work under pressure and remain decisive• Experience of working with 3rd party suppliersI am a fast learner as well as a hard worker and enjoy learning and mastering new systems
