B&S is a British independent furniture retailer that offers a wide spectrum of home interiors. I have to think commercially and creatively everyday to inspire any customers who walk through the doors. My day to day responsibilities includes working with the store managers to refresh or place new furniture ranges. I also work closely with the accessories buyer to display and merchandise store product understanding how strong merchandising can impact customer sales and re-imagine seasonal and threads and looks in store.

I was employed as Screen printer for the Bearhug company. An independent fashion brand that hand produce various clothing items. My main job roles included; preparing and exposing screens, lining up design work, completing the print and then the cleaning process. I would also be in charge of stock management when it came to screen printed goods.

I worked with various higher end products on a daily basis, understanding their brands ethos and reflecting this within merchandising techniques for both the fashion and home department. My everyday role would consist of: Seasonal changes in furniture room settings to fashion catwalks, refreshing mannequins and maintaining high dressing standards all to profit sales.I was lucky to style the beautiful West Elm on a regular basis due to it being an in house brand at John Lewis.
