Clinical laboratory scientist working to provide information for patient diagnosis and treatment by performing complex tests in microbiology, chemistry, hematology, and immunology laboratories. My expertise includes data analysis and interpretation, compliance with federal regulations, and the implementation of new workflows based on past configurations. My colleagues would describe me as a driven, resourceful individual who maintains a positive, proactive attitude when faced with adversity. My future outlook is geared towards a transition into a primarily software/IT based role. After starting the move towards the new facility, I participated in many projects of the laboratory IT team including:- Pre-live interface testing- Analyzing data on current SOPs to translate them for an updated, automation based system- Test-script writing for completely new workflows (Data Innovations IM & BioRad Unity)- Implementation of brand new lab automation softwareI’m seeking opportunities that will expose me to more types of software and increase my experience with data analysis which will make my transition into software roles easier. Specific fields of interest include data analytics, biotechnology, and clinical information systems. I’m also interested in programming and in the near future, aim to obtain a post-graduate degree or certification to boost my programming skills.
