CAMCORE is an international tree breeding organization and was formed in 1980. Works on behalf of its members to maintain broad genetic bases of the best-adapted and productive species for use in plantation forestry and also conservation of some endangered tree species. Has more than 25 active members distributed in 11 countries in the Americas, Africa, and Asia.My main research is focused on:> Terrestrial Lidar for Phenotyping based in R programming;> Climate Change Site-Species Matching.

Managing the areas of biometrics and productivity, with a pipeline of projects and experiments aimed at enhancing forest productivity and consequent cost reduction in forestry implantation. Management of projects focused on innovation and the opportunities to improve the technical prescriptions and forestry processes. Forest management planning (Thinning, Stocking) and species allocation (Pine and Eucalyptus).> Increase in forest productivity through the implementation of new nutritional management.> Improvement of the initial quality of the plantations with the review of the integrated management of weeds.> Enhancement of growth and adequate allocation of resources through the application of the concept of Forest Management units.

Started the implementation of the culture and quality management in several processes of the forestry unit.
