Entrepreneurial poverty is a condition where you have a business but you’re not making the money you expected to earn when you started and certainly not enough to live the lifestyle you want.I became obsessed with understanding why talented, motivated, hard-working small business owners could not escape entrepreneurial poverty. In the process, I discovered several things:- Entrepreneurs go into business to achieve freedom which is paid for, partly, with money- Entrepreneurs in the pre-profitability stage need support, but the free services are not enough.- Entrepreneurs with few resources face a tradeoff between hiring help and feeding their families.Over the next several years and using intense research guided by a PhD program, I found answers. I identified the pre-profitability concepts used by entrepreneurs who grew their companies from zero to over $100 million in annual revenue.I've used these concepts successfully to escape my own entrepreneurial poverty and to position my company for successful, profitable, controllable and measurable growth.My current obsession is sharing these principles with business owners, like you, who are tired of the tried-but-not-so true, the trial-and-error, the failing over and over and learning lessons to problems that don't repeat themselves.I'm on a mission to have a positive impact on the economic prosperity of communities and you are a part of it.
