Work within the R&D team on location to setup, analyze, and report on various projects regarding testing and design. The use of Star-CCM+, NX Nastran, NX Multiphysics, and NX Magnetics is needed based on the test or design concern.

Provide support, training and consulting services to customers across a variety of mechanical system applications.Projects include the use of the following systems: modal, response spectrum, random vibration, harmonic response, static and transient structural, steady-state and transient thermal, coupled field static and coupled field structural.Projects involve broad experience performing analyses involving fatigue life and damage, piezoelectric applications, thermodynamics, structural stresses and deformations, random vibrations for transportation and operation, seismic responses, plastic deformation, gasket analysis and multiphysics dynamics.

I provide tutoring services in high school level math and science courses as well as SAT math and ACT math/science.

Responsible for the technical aspects of the GMSG product line at Siemens. Previously responsible for the Simovac product line. This position requires consistent and knowledgeable communication between the PLM, R&D, and all engineering teams associated with the release of an order.This position also provides opportunities to improve efficiency of processes and perform business analyses. Some examples of completed projects with these effects are listed below.• Analyzed and identified issues within the costing model used with the GMSG product line. Proposed solution currently being implemented with expectations to provide more accurate quotes and final billing values.• Created program which reads an XML output file from a configuration program and creates engineering drawings and documentation in Microsoft Visio using vb.net and late binding instances.• Created an application form using vb.net in Microsoft Visual Studio to help streamline and organize project design requests.• Created a console program using Microsoft Visual Studio to connect to AutoCAD and produce a pdf file of user selected drawings in bulk. Creates an average of 30 seconds per drawing time savings and allowed users to convert dwg to pdf files while working on other tasks.• Created an Excel macro to aid in the creation of variant configuration files used in SAP for product configuration. The macro is currently used to aid in the upkeep of various product line configurations. File generation saves around a minute of manual coding within SAP per variant configuration.

I was primarily responsible designing and releasing design to order (DTO) parts for projects. These designs primarily included structure and component updates. The use of the Ideas 3-D CAD program was used in the creation of these designs.I also helped in creating general arrangement drawings for customers and the design team through the use of AutoCAD.Basic knowledge of SAP was required for the creation and use of change numbers as well as BOM retrieval and updating. Teamcenter was used to store the parts library.

I tutor high school math and science classes such as physics, chemistry, calculus, geometry and algebra. I also tutor ACT science and math as well as SAT math.

I tutor people that need help in math and most physical sciences. I have tutored subjects such as high school geometry, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Chemistry, SAT math prep, and a few college physics courses.

I primarily helped with transferring blueprints to the electronic database in UniGraphics. When I was not doing this, I was learning about machining processes and limits, primarily from the machine operators, and doing small projects that I was assigned.

I helped manage the High Point Elks lodge through the company and during my time with the company, I acquired my lifeguard instructor certification and began teaching CPR and lifeguarding for CPM.

I lifeguarded for the YMCA over the summer and when I came home on school breaks.

I was an assistant manager at the high Point Country Club pool. My job responsibilities included organizing and supervising the lifeguards at the facility, maintaining the chemical balance of the pool water, and performing other duties such as maintaining the pump room and equipment inside it.
