Upon winning approval from Exeter’s CIO to separate Operational/Analytical reporting (non-SDLC for SOX compliance) from Financially Impacting reporting (SDLC required), designed the infrastructure to support this separation. Authored all policy and procedure documents required. Guided the implementation of the infrastructure, policies and processes. As SDLC separation of duties were part of the new process created, even for non-SDLC reports within the BI group, have a current project to take on deployment/support of Financially Impacting (SDLC) reports. This provides Exeter with the best level of expertise for all BI reports while maintaining SOX compliance. Worked extensively in optimizing current stored procedures to decrease run times. Cut the nightly processing jobs from ~ 4 hours to just over 1 hour. Created SSIS packages to automate routine tasks and provide ways for the business users to import data managed on spreadsheets into the data warehouse to be consumed in reporting. Provided senior level development and business skills for the Business Intelligence group. Converted multiple SAS based manual reports to SSRS by writing complex, multi-stage T-SQL queries to provide report automation. Served as sole ETL/Infrastructure developer for reporting needs. Successfully managed multiple teams in geographically diverse support centers driving a continual increase in service level and support center efficiency. Selected and coordinated a team of support reps on a successful project to redesign the call tracking system. As a key player in the re-engineering of the department, co-developed an employee information/attendance/statistics database, which was used to gather all performance statistics. This project combined several different factions into one cohesive cross-functional Call Center Operations department to oversee the entire Support Organization.

Played a key role in the integration of Web Hosting Support during the merger of Netcom and Mindspring. This merger brought new capabilities for the front line representative to resolve issues for the customer on the phone without having to wait for a system admin to intervene. This required an intensive training program with the Netcom reps which was completed quickly and brought service and first call resolution levels up to comparable levels with Mindspring's other support centers within six weeks.

Began as a Dial-Up Support Rep providing a high level of customer service with a focus on first call resolution. Progressed through positions as Lead, Supervisor and finally Manager of the Dial-Up support group. Recruited by the Director of Web Hosting Support to bring the same focus on service level and first call resolution to that group. Led the Web Support Team to double digit increases in both catagories.
