Responsible for end to end delivery of IT Projects across Agilent's Sales, Marketing, Service, Finance and Global Operations that contribute to the company's strategic business objectives. Manage a staff of SAP Solution Architects, Program and Project Managers located across 3 countries and oversee project delivery performed by several external partners.

Responsible for managing information technology programs, budgets and a staff of 9 IT professionals. Projects include large and small ERP Integration projects resulting from acquisitions or business initiatives, Quality System Regulation initiatives, Supply Chain improvement, Financial transition initiatives and other projects that require fast and effective delivery working with business, IT and external partners. Key results include delivery of: • General Accounting and Indirect Procurement Track in Project Uno bringing all of Agilent’s financial processes from Oracle onto the SAP Platform (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Project Costing, Indirect Procurement, Payroll Accounting, Cash and Treasury)• Several small and large acquisition ERP integrations and divestitures including 2 of Agilent’s largest: Stratagene ($500m) and Varian ($1.5b)• Multi-Source Consolidation program utilizing SAP’s Advanced Planning and Optimization solution improving Agilent’s supply chain capabilities, Customer Delivery cycles and increased accuracy on Customer Required Deliver Dates. Responsible for coordinating Agilent’s Corporate eBusiness Requirements, Scope Definition, and Functional Design process and the Program Change Management Process. Responsible for gathering, coordinating and prioritizing business requirements across Agilent’s business groups to establish release scope. Delivered Agilent’s first major delivery of a new contextual based enterprise web framework based upon the following components: iPlanet Web Server, Entrust Getaccess, Broadvision One to One and Inktomi Search. Following delivery, I was responsible for managing the activity to disposition enhancements and software defects that flowed into the program from various business groups into minor or major releases.

Responsible for HP's Life Science Chemical Analysis group's Web to SAP technical integration within the Group’s e-Commerce Program. Responsible for partnering with business leadership on LSCA’s domestic and international rollout of e-Commerce capabilities and participation in business development opportunities in support of LSCA’s e-Business program. As part of project delivery, utilized an ‘Iterative” Prototype & Development process with periodic reviews with executive staff to establish sponsorship and secure active funding. The team delivered the following key capabilities within 5 months: Searchable product Catalog of over 5,700 products, Shopping Cart, Product Availability Lookup, Quote Creation and Order Creation with customer specific pricing with PO or Credit Card, Order History Lookup with Repeat Buy Option, and Order Status Lookup. LSCA’s e-Commerce solution was recognized as being ‘Best in Class’ within Agilent Technologies’ e-Business community. LSCA’s eBusiness solution was also named in the Emmes Group Survey as Best Web Site in our industry in 2000, 2001 and 2002. LSCA eCommerce sales grew from ~$100k in 1999 to over $3.5m in 2003.

Member of a Core team responsible for Re-engineering LSCA’s order fulfillment processes through SAP’s ERP software. Participated in the evaluation and selection of a consulting partner. Responsibilities included working closely with the Finance Business lead and external partner on the assessment of business designs in the FI/CO area and translation of these into technical solutions. Responsible for assessing requirements, planning resources and leading a technical development team to design and implement solutions in support of business requirements. Project delivery required working closely with Hewlett-Packard’s centralized Financial Centers in Atlanta (Account Receivable) and Colorado (Accounts Payable) to establish integration test plans and design signoff. As part of delivery I was responsible for establishing detailed startup and shutdown plans during the “Go Live” cutover weekend and worked closely with LSCA’s user base to ensure all issues were appropriately handled and resolved post go live. The result was delivery of Agilent’s Life Science, Chemical Analysis Groups first comprehensive SAP implementation in the Field and Factories in May ’97 supporting over $700 million in revenue. The solution virtually replaced all legacy applications with SAP’s ERP software. Following the U.S. implementation, I worked in Waldbronn, Germany as a member of international core team responsible for continuing the SAP rollout in Europe.

Responsible for providing overall technical leadership for the implementation and support of Hewlett-Packard operating systems, network software and applications used to support LSCA’s order fulfillment and manufacturing operation. Provided overall direction to projects designed to optimize data center operations and systems performance. Managed a project to consolidate LSCA’s factory computing systems that supported LSCA’s entire factory Order Fulfillment processes from 13 HP business computer systems into 4 HP business computer systems saving $250k per year. This effort included performance analysis to scope application moves and the coordination of 20 application development resources to support the design and applications testing requirements on the new systems. Followng the consolidation I then managed a project to move LSCA’s entire data center and corresponding network and computer infrastructure to LSCA’s new $70 million HP manufacturing site. And finally to complete HP’s global data center consolidation I managed a project to move Agilent’s Life Science data center and operation processes to the Palo Alto Information Technology Center. This effort included the coordination of activities of over 50 IT people from various geographically dispersed organizations. Key challenges involved managing the resolution of issues centered around LAN/WAN design, change management, people impact, vendor negotiations, and resource conflicts.

Responsible for field sales support and implementation of HP Business Computer Systems, Personal Computer products, and applications. Provide technical support in sales presentations and product demonstrations. Responsible for delivery of consulting, training, account contract support and implementation assistance to Hewlett –Packard Company’s installed base customers located throughout New York City and the tri-state area. Participated in several key business opportunities yielding several million dollars of revenue for Hewlett-Packard Company. Provided Account Management support over 20 accounts in the Insurance, Advertisement, Garment and Finance industries. Worked closely with HP divisions on new product development such as NewWave Office and Lan Manager as well positioning accounts to move to HP’s next generation Reduced Instruction set computing platform.
