A lot of people are moving to Weld County, and I love working with local leaders to accommodate that growth. I primarily handle land use development and capital construction projects, but I love going to court as well. There is an abundance of variety in the County Attorney's Office, and so while I have a number of areas of expertise, I'm also a jack of all trades. Litigation, finance, human resources, procurement, law enforcement - and anything else I can do to help out.

The City of Greeley was a great place to start my career as a licensed attorney. I made great relationships with just about every criminal defense attorney in Weld County during the weekly municipal court arraignment hearings, where I prosecuted misdemeanors and traffic tickets. But I always found the insurance defense work the most interesting, and I spent a lot of my time on it. Additionally I worked with human resources and law enforcement. I really appreciate the opportunity that former City Attorney Rick Brady gave me - it was a wonderful experience.
