As Team Leader, responsible for overseeing a group of Examiners-in-charge who conduct deep dive business process reviews and all related activities. GCR's scope includes all credit aspects of businesses within the bank worldwide.

A financial derivatives trading company - primarily futures and forex across all markets worldwide. Our trading approach is based on models using trend following techniques as well as short term pattern recognition of price movement. Over 80 financial instruments are traded including currencies, financials, energies, grains, softs and metals. Models are proprietary and custom designed by us. The company has achieved well above managed futures industry returns for the past 8 years.

Responsible for advising the President of Global Banking & Financial Services on strategic and loan portfolio issues. I also represented my employer on committees with the Institute of International Finance and Robert Morris Associates responding to Basel proposals on the revision of capital reserve requirements of banks worldwide.

Boston

Directed the Risk Analysis function of the bank with a staff of 25. My group had responsibility for reporting to all levels of the bank on reserve setting, stress testing, scenario modeling, risk adjusted return on capital applications, risk concentrations management, including country and industry limit and credit exposure management.

Greater Boston Area

Facilitated the bank’s process of strategic planning in the three main business arenas of corporate, personal and global banking. With the Executive Director of Strategic Planning, advised the Chairman’s Office on key strategic issues impacting the banking industry in general and BankBoston, N.A. in particular. Managed oversight of the bank’s retention of outside consultants and on-going consulting project evaluation.

Greater Boston Area

Reported to senior management on the risks and health of a multi-billion dollar loan portfolio in Latin America, Asia and Europe. Was also secretary of the bank's Country Exposure Committee and administered the bank's process for management of country risk.
