National Account Manager
Current- Manage two large national accounts (Simmons & Select Comfort) in all areas from Product Merchandising, Product Presentation and Service. This includes the service of the corporate office and individual plants, where needed.- Develop and present Merchandising Plans to the corporate merchandising offices of national bedding licensee companies that are in the top ten. This also includes facilitating and managing other sales staff that are responsible for the individual licensees.- Negotiate merchandising and incentive programs in order to achieve greater market share with the ultimate goal of increasing sales with greater profitability.- Significantly increased product placements on national accounts from a regional group level.- Consistently increase sales and develop marketing / merchandising strategies that work within a bedding retailer’s environment.- Prospect for new or dormant accounts, not only in the traditional mattress fabric area, but also in other industries where our type of product may have an application.- Use strategic planning and innovative profit selling, during customer Quarterly Business Review in order to increase sales and profitability.
