I am a first-generation college graduate who never took ‘no’ for an answer. Born and raised in a town of less than 1,000 people, I am entrenched with a passion for community involvement and building relationships with those around me on all levels.I developed an interest in human resources while working in the service industry. When I decided to pursue a Master’s degree, I chose the Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management (IOHRM) Program at Appalachian State University because of its dynamic structure and close-knit culture. At the end of my first year in the IOHRM program, I began an internship with ATI Specialty Materials, a world leader in the production of technically advanced specialty materials and complex components. As an intern, I lead the redesign of ATI's onboarding program and the development of a temporary layoff policy, among other projects. I received my Master’s degree in May of 2018 and returned to ATI in a full-time capacity as an Employee Relations Leader. I later relocated to Pittsburgh in order to provide support to two of ATI's unionized production facilities in the area.In March of 2022, I began working as a Human Resources Associate Partner with Red Ventures.
