Leading and coordinating all aspects of biology across the science department to ensure high quality teaching and learning. Responsible for growing and developing the subject of biology at KS5.• Evaluating provisions and producing a high-quality scheme of work that meets national and academy requirements.• Effectively managing a team of inexperienced biology specialists through school closures, whilst integrating a range of technological and online platforms to ensure impactful learning.• Establishing a rigorous monitoring system for tracking practical work, which received praise during an external monitoring visit for supporting both staff and students. • Implementing the SSAT Student Leadership Accreditation within a charity funded football leadership project, as well as supporting its use across the school.
