Ricardo Cortez has professional experience as an administrator in business information systems development and as workgroup leader in regional economic analysis. His experience combines activities for economic and industrial promotion from private sector and economic policy analysis for the municipal government.He has participated as fellow and later as in charge of economic analysis for the National Council of the Maquiladora Industry in Mexico City. He has worked in the area of economic studies for the City of Tijuana Government and as creator of the industrial information system for the business organization Tijuana Economic Development Corporation.Ricardo Cortez has a bachelor in economics with specialization in Financial Management from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and obtained a BA in Economics with honors from Instituto Politécnico Nacional (2000). He has attended specialties in Regional Competitiveness and Clusters by Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (2008), Real Estate Marketing by Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (2009), Senior Management by Cetys Universidad (2010) and postgraduate studies (MA) in Economic Development by Cetys Universidad and the Economic Development Institute of the University of Oklahoma, USA (2007).Born and based in Tijuana, México, Ricardo Cortez has participated in projects of digital media monitoring and local politics analysis, also in market studies for the real estate industry.
