Responsible for entire operations at Jabil Poughkeepsie comprising primarily of managing staff members, manufacturing, materials, planning, engineering, quality, EHS, lean initiatives, continuous improvement, turnover, ISO compliance, forecasting and performance of the Financial and operational metrics overseeing 8 direct reports and over 60 indirect reports. Implementation of Jabil best practices at site, establishing processes and manufacturing methods, review and optimization of manpower and equipment utilization, facilities management, project management, driving a lean culture, coaching and developing functional managers and supervisors, team building and driving the improvement of KPIs (OLE, OEE, DPM, CRR, RMA Aging, DII, IRA, FPY, OTR/OTD, Scrap etc.)Highlights & Accomplishments:• Championed 6 kaizen events and laid out the roadmap for lean transformation at the site since 2012.• Ensured a successful transition of new business in the absence of a dedicated project manager.• Upgraded the shop floor control system at Jabil Poughkeepsie enabling systemic process verification and product validation using global MES (Manufacturing Execution System) team.• 2nd employee from the Poughkeepsie site to be Lean Bronze certified which requires submission and approval (Plant, Regional & corporate) of 5 Projects (1 Blitz, 2 A3s and 2 DMAICs) • Initiated and drove the site ERP transitioning from Profit Key to SAP which is the global standard for Jabil to enhance collaboration and visibility.• Worked with key team members in driving the trend of the site’s operational metrics in a positive direction increasing customer satisfaction and profitability.

Responsible for interviewing, recruiting, hiring and coaching Line Managers, supervisors and DL staffing. Managed a total of 40 employees including DL and IL. Monitor turnover; identify key factors that can be improved; make improvements. Periodically “get down in the trenches” to rehabilitate troubled workcells or to help during product launch. Foster a “back to basics” mentality during these times. Lead by example; “Walk the talk.” Other functions included layout changes, daily efficiency and performance monitoring, trend analysis of operational metrics, manual scrap reduction, line balancing, adding flexibility via cross-training, optimizing product flow and ensuring successful launch of new projects.Highlights & Accomplishments:• Changed the layout of assembly line, reducing 38% of floor space and the average pick time for parts by 30% while maintaining and/or increasing the site metrics.• Consistently met and/or exceeded the site metric’s goals for DPM, CRR, FPY, OTD, Scrap %, DII and Revenue Projection.• Received the highest ratings among all the exempt staff members for the annual performance review (2007-2008), (2008-2009) and (2011-2012).• Demonstrated a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority. • In 2010, Jabil workcell received Cisco’s #1 EMS Provider award 2 quarters in a row.

Ensure the availability /control of work instructions and production documents. Create and maintain proper training and certification of assembly/manufacturing operators. Monitor WIP inventory and overtime for DL employees. Work with line supervisors and DL employees to improve quality levels and develop and maintain work schedules that supports 100% on-time delivery of both production and RMA demand. Establish clear measurable goals and objectives and drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational metrics.Highlights & Accomplishments:• Spearheaded a seamless transition of 3 different products overseas with a total of business revenue of approximately $120M / yr.• Lowered overtime by 10% through employee cross-training and line balancing resulting in cost savings and increased profitability.
