Designed roll to roll lithium vapor deposition vacuum system for production of lithium metal anodes used in Licerion cells. Anode factory expansion project lead

I perform engine calibrations using an eddy current Dyno on small two stroke air cooled engines ranging from 35cc to 215cc. HFE designs and manufactures electronic fuel injection (EFI) systems for these engines. I design and execute optimization experiments for each engine EFI systems using Dyno and national instruments DAQ hardware, resulting in operating temperature specifications, optimized spark timing table, and optimized volumetric efficiency tables. I write applications using MATLAB to analyze data acquired from dyno tests. These applications produce power/torque vs. speed curves, BSFC (brake specific fuel consumption) curves, part throttle power/torque curves, along with data mining to analyze engine performance trends. I write procedure documents for engine testing and validation. I work closely with production technicians and design engineers to pinpoint areas to improve the EFI system.

I designed electro-mechanical assemblies using Altium designer and Solidworks, that integrated printed circuit boards into aluminum enclosures . I worked with sales and management to align product designs to business goals and customer expectations. I produced prototype circuits and used in house 3D printers to produce proof of concept mechanical prototypes. I learned how to work within UAW guidelines when managing projects allowing me to assign the right jobs to the right workers. I worked extensively with outside electrical and mechanical contractors, ensuring that they completed their jobs within budget and on time, while following strict safety guidelines. I leveraged my mechanical design skills by translating AutoCAD drawings to Solidworks models, allowing contracted fabricators to more accurately build replacement machine components. I was responsible for applying both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering principals to develop innovative products that meet the clients functional requirements, and adhered to NeuroNexus's lean manufacturing philosophy. In the beginning years of this position I was responsible for packaging silicon based electrode arrays onto printed circuit boards. As my assembly skills increased I began optimizing the assembly techniques to increase throughput and consistency between product lines.
