CurrentAuto parts procurement is our passion and hobby, not a business of any kind. We simply love auto parts. We're also at dantzautoparts.com, too. I worked part-time, weekends, Saturday and Sunday, sixteen (16) hours per week, at Advance Auto Parts from November 2002 to May 2011 (State St., Schenectady, NY.) From December 2001 to November 2002 I worked at Pep Boys (Central Ave., Albany, NY), same days and hours as Advance. Assisted all types of customers and answered thousands of phone calls, in a concise and efficient manner. Since 2008 I have helped friends, family, and acquaintances acquire parts through my own effort and supply chain, on a casual and friendly basis. Our knowledge of autos manufactured in the past forty (40) years is robustly abundant. The connectivity of architecture, powertrain, and drivetrain for this period of vehicles is our specialty. Motor Trend magazine has been a staple since I was fourteen years old. We fully support the traditional distribution of auto parts, per the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association, or the AWDA. This would be the Warehouse Distributor (WD) and Jobber store system, i.e. small business and those who support it. I learned at the big box, but moved on to a system that supports my values, the WD and Jobber system. The Federated Auto Parts program group and other commensurate suppliers share those same values. We attend the New York International Auto Show in NYC each year, and subscribe to Aftermarket Matters, a trade publication. Keeping abreast of what is on the road, coupled with the aftermarket parts industry, creates a continuous stream of learning for a lifetime. And we really enjoy it. We have a full comprehension of the industry, and have an absolute blast when we're fully immersed in it. Thanks!
