As the Managing Principal for the Southeast US at Integra Design Group, a Charlotte-based architecture firm with offices in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, I lead the firm's expansion across the U.S., delivering design and construction management services to private- and public-sector clients. I have over 24 years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry, and I am a licensed architect in six jurisdictions, including Puerto Rico, the Carlinas, and Florida. I am also a LEED-AP+ BD&C, a credential that demonstrates my expertise in sustainable design and green building. My passion is to help clients design and build for future living, in buildings, neighborhoods, and cities that are resilient, livable, and high-performing. I specialize in commercial interiors, institutional projects, program management consulting, and public architecture. We at Integra have developed a unique approach to integrate climate resilience and livability with the usual design performance drivers, which we call DeepGreen. With DeepGreen, we aim to create a better way forward for our clients and communities, by designing solutions that prepare for climate impacts and provide the greatest living and work experience.
